2012 Hills Cup Grand Final

Junior Rugby League was celebrated yesterday in Western Sydney with the Grand Finals of the annual Hills Cup at Parramatta Stadium.

NSW Minister for Sport, The Hon. Graham Annesley was in attendance along with fellow MP’s, Dr Geoff Lee, (Member for Parramatta), Dominic Perrottet (Member for Castle Hill) and David Elliott (Member for Baulkham Hills) to support their respective sides for the first time ever on the hallowed turf of Parramatta Stadium.
The Hills Cup Competition is held each year throughout the Hills District catering for local high schools that don’t otherwise play regular Rugby League. It works as a really good feeder into our junior leagues giving kids a taste of what it’s like to play under the International Rules.

Schools involved in the finals included OLOL College (Harris Park), Seven Hills High School (Seven Hills), Castle Hill High School (Castle Hill), Pacific Hills Christian School (Dural) and Marian College (Kenthurst).

1:00pm Juniors U14’s OLOL College 16 def Pacific Hills Christian School 10
2:00pm – Intermediates U 16’s OLOL College 24 def Seven Hills High School 18
3pm – Seniors U18’s Castle Hill HS 14 def Marian College 4
