Super X Australasian Supercross Championship Success at Parramatta Stadium PDF  | Print |  E-mail

Parramatta Stadium was once again home to the Australasian Supercross Championships on Saturday 14th November 2009. A crowd of 12,200 witnessed a sensational night of supercross racing with dual World Supercross Champion, Chad Reed, dominating the Open class final to take the win in front of seven time World Supercross Champion, Jeremy McGrath.

The incredibly exciting Survival format featured in the final of the Open Class and once again had the fans at Parramatta Stadium on the edge of their seats. The format pitted 20 riders against each other in four, six lap sprints where the bottom five were eliminated after each race.

The final five that lined up for the final were Chad Reed, Tye Simmonds, Daniel McCoy, Jay Marmont and Jeremy McGrath. Chad Reed went on to take the 'holeshot' and then the win.
