Parramatta Stadium will host the Australian Kangaroos against Papau New Guinea for their opening match in the 2010 Four Nations Rugby League tournament on Sunday 24th October.
The ARL Kangaroos will be calling Parramatta Stadium home for the first time since 1994 when Mal Meninga's side disposed of France in front of a Parramatta Stadium record crowd of 27,318. Parramatta Stadium fan favourite Nathan Hindmarsh has expressed his interest in representing Australia on his home ground. "If the opportunity came up it would be great to play an Aussie game at Parramatta Stadium for sure," said Nathan Hindmarsh. "It's a great ground, we'd expect to fill it against Papua New Guinea, I think it will be a nice crowd out there." "You'd like to see a full stadium and I think Parramatta can do it there."
