Playing Surface
The arena surface was reconstructed in 1993. It is classified as a sand based, mesh reinforced profile (StrathAyr System) capable of handling high usage and accommodating up to 100mm of rain per hour. The surface comprises a mixture of Legend couch grass with a winter oversewing of Rye grass. The dimensions of the main field are 140m x 80m.

Training Field

There is a floodlit training ground adjacent to the Stadium in addition to the playing surface. The dimensions for the training field are 80m x 60m.

Changerooms

There are two designated dressing rooms capable of accommodating two (2) football teams in each including coaches rooms, medical room and ice machine. These areas are well secured and have direct access to the playing field.

Four lighting towers provide four levels of lighting ranging from 130 lux for training through to 1000 lux for night time TV coverage complying with international TV lighting standards.
