Football Federation Australia

"The FFA Qantas Socceroos are ongoing and current users of Parramatta Stadium, an excellent football specific venue in the west of Sydney.

The team finds the playing surface to be of a continual high standard, the facilities befitting an appropriate stadium and ambiance exactly conducive to a professional training environment.

The staff responsible for the Stadium are always open to our team's needs and ensure that our highest of requests are always met. They go over and above in delivering a perfect venue and no issue is too hard, or impossible to coordinate.

It is the team's intention that the Qantas Socceroos will continue to use Parramatta Stadium whenever the team is playing in Sydney, especially when the match is scheduled in the west of Sydney."

Australian Rugby Union

"Parramatta Stadium  has hosted Australia A Internationals and was also home base for the Western Sydney Rams in the 2007 Australian Rugby Championship.

It also became a Rugby Test venue in 1998 when the Wallabies played a World Cup Qualifier against Fiji.

"The Wallabies have used the Parramatta Stadium facilities for training in the lead up to Test matches. The facilities are modern and professional, offering privacy and a quality playing and training surface."

Sydney FC

"Sydney FC has been privileged to be involved with Parramatta Stadium from both a training and playing perspective.

We utilised the facilities as part of our A-League pre-season and within the playing season to great advantage. It was also the base for the preparation for our entry in to the Asian Champions League campaign during which time we played one of three home fixtures at the Stadium with great success.

We also used the Stadium for a pre-season match against the Newcastle Jets which again was extremely successful from an event point of view.

We found the venue from a training perspective to be very accomodating to our needs and recieved tremendous support and assistance from the Stadium staff. The changing rooms and support structures for professional athletes is second to none.

Our training area was maintained to a very high standard during a difficult growing period, and whenever possible, usually at least three times per week, we used the main field for a more comprehensive and detailed training session.

Match days need to be commented on a little more as this is where the Stadium excels. The key elements associated with the running of a professional fixture were well staffed with personnel who knew exactly what their role and responsibilities were. It was a pleasure to deal with Parramatta Stadium management and staff in all aspects associated with a professional sporting team requirement."

NSW Rugby Union

"Parramatta Stadium was commissioned by the New South Wales Rugby Union to be the home ground of the Western Sydney Rams during the 2007 Mazda Australian Rugby Championship."

"The Venue was chosen for a number of factors, with location and capacity the key components in the NSWRU decision."

"The Union knew Parramatta Stadium to be the premier multi-sport facility in Western Sydney and at the connclusion of the ARC was extremely pleased with its decision to use the venue. Parramatta Stadium provided high quality facilities both on and off the field allowing the Rams to maintain a competitive edge, while also delivering patrons and stakeholders an excellent match day experience. Stadium staff were highly proffesional and provided exceptional service across all departments which is paramount for any major event to run smoothly."

"Parramatta Stadium embraced the Western Sydney Rams, and the NSWRU looks forward to continuing that relationship with the opportunity to hold more events at the venue in the future."
