Parramatta Stadium To Host Football NSW Premier League Grand Finals
Parramatta Stadium will host the 2010 NSW Premier League Grand Finals on Sunday August 29th with three high quality matches scheduled from three respective age groups.
During the former National Soccer League days Parramatta Stadium was home to the Parramatta Power between 1999 till 2004 and hosted seven NSL Grand Final matches in 1986, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1993, 2001 and 2004 (the last ever NSL Grand Final match before the competition folded).
A-League side Sydney FC have utilised the pitch with one of their AFC Champions League games against Persik Kediri while in February 2010 during the 2009-2010 season, the Sky Blues played out a thrilling 3-2 victory over Perth Glory.
The imaculate pitch will be ready for all competing teams come Sunday as the NSW Premier League Grand Final fever grips Parramatta Stadium.
